She is the new instructional assistant in the tutoring area and also brings two and a half years of teaching experience. Prior to her graduate studies, Kiara received a Bachelor's of Science from Royal Holloway, University of London in Mathematics with Philosophy. Having tutored professionally during her undergraduate years, she is excited to work with students on a one-to-one level again. Already, she feels welcomed to the LRC, and is excited to become a part of the exceptional community here at TNCC. "

Matt Hedrick is the new Assistant to the Director of Learning Resources and brings a strategic perspective to the position. He graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2015 with a major in Art History and a minor in Business. Matt brings his strengths together by being focused on the task at hand, prepared for unforeseen obstacles, as well as remembering facts like a drop of a hat. You may have seen him zipping through the halls running errands. His previous positions include working at a local art galleries as well as personal assisting.

Will Moore is a Hampton resident and Poquoson native.  He has three degrees: a B.A. in American Studies and a M.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Mary Washington and a B.S. in Network Security from ECPI.  A former teacher, Will’s loves in life are history, technology (both new and old) and learning.  Between grade school, college (including several classes at TNCC), teaching, and his new role with us as Technology Learning Specialist, Will has been in school in one form or another for nearly 30 years!
